What maintenance facilities are in place

The SPD sets out principles and requirements related to long term stewardship at Chapter 7.5. An appropriate approach will need to evolve through collaboration between the developer, Maidstone Borough Council (with Kent County Council), local Parish Councils, and other relevant stakeholders. This will need to set out as part of work associated with future planning applications.

How are you ensuring that a bus service will provide a service to the area

Chapter 6.6 of the SPD sets out the range of necessary public transport improvements including the requirement for improved bus services.
Chapter 7.4 of the SPD sets out that infrastructure will be secured at the appropriate time as the development comes forward through the use of planning conditions and legal agreements.

Concerns with traffic thoroughfares through Boxley Penenden heath Grange Lane and sandling as cut through to Maidstone and M20

The SPD sets out additional guidance on the approach to transport assessment and mitigation (Chapter 6.6).
The detailed design of transport mitigation measures including addressing off site impacts will need to be set out as part of the formulation and consideration of future planning applications.
