As a resident of Lenham I have many concern regarding the above
Could you please confirm who will be responsible for the cost of the construction of the promised railway station, will it be the “landowners” and who will be responsible for its running costs? What happens if the running costs escalate as they did with Thanet Parkway?
Can you confirm that funding for the water treatment works has been included in Southern Waters forward budget, the alternative solution to use tankers to remove the waste is not feasible on an already congested A20.
I have numerous other concerns but welcome your reply to the above two issues.

The SPD takes forward the requirements of Policy LPRSP4(A) of the Local Plan Review which established the necessary scope of infrastructure, including the need for a new railway station and new or improved wastewater facility as part of Phase 1, as set out in Figure 19.
The principles at Chapter 6.3 in relation to 'Blue Infrastructure and Wastewater Treatment' require development proposals to demonstrate how foul water will be appropriately managed, including provision of an improved or new wastewater treatment facility.
Chapter 6.11 of the SPD the range of necessary public transport improvements including the requirement for a new rail station and improved bus services.
Paragraph 7.2.5 of the SPD sets out that infrastructure will be secured at the appropriate time as the development comes forward through the use of planning conditions and legal agreements.
Chapter 9.2 sets out that the Council sets out that Section 106 and Section 278 agreements will be the means to secure the necessary policy and infrastructure requirements for the Garden Settlement.
