Representation ID: 1

Received: 03/11/2025

Respondent: Mr Richard Conyard

Representation Summary:

I believe them to be mostly correct. I would have likely to have seen further steps introduced reviewing how systemic rural poverty would be tackled, especially with the affordable housing going into the scheme.

Our response:

Comment noted.
The SPD contains a range of topics including the provision of affordable housing, accessibility to local services and to job opportunities that collectively can help to address rural poverty.

Q3: Are there any issues and elements which you feel are inaccurate or missing?

Representation ID: 2

Received: 03/11/2025

Respondent: Mr Richard Conyard

Representation Summary:

Whilst upgrading PRoW on the A20 are welcome this should not be the primary route for pedestrians and cyclists since even with the new proposals the route will be threatening and feel unsafe.

Our response:

Comment noted.
Section C Chapter 6.11 requires that all active travel routes will need to be compliant with Local Transport Note 1/20 published by the Department for Transport, which requires all networks and routes to be coherent; direct; safe; comfortable and attractive. Further design guidelines will need to set out and agreed in an accompanying site wide design code.
