It is not clear on traffic management plans whether Dunn Street, Bredhurst will be
closed to through traffic as Forge Lane. Without this measure the village with its
narrow roads (single lane width restrictions) will become a dangerous rat run.
Also the timing for the construction of the new motorway link needs to be brought
forward -1) as a condition of planning - and guarantee completion
2) to avoid huge bottlenecks on local roads in accessing the M2 so
avoiding further inconvenience to local residents and more air pollution.
With such a scarcity of professionally qualified medical clinicians, how is the new medical
centre going to be staffed?
Is there any way of ensuring (as a condition of planning) that these properties go to fulfil local
needs - otherwise why build - just to become a London overspill?

The SPD sets out additional guidance on the approach to transport assessment and mitigation (Chapter 7.3). The SPD takes forward the requirements of Policy LPRSP4(B) of the Local Plan Review which established the necessary scope of infrastructure, which confirms the spur being opening in phase 2 (2033-2038).
The detailed design of transport mitigation measures including addressing off site impacts will need to be set out as part of the formulation and consideration of future planning applications.
