Site C4S017 The Brishings. Long term harm to the countryside. Alter the character of the village. Safeguarding policies are intended to protect suitable sites. This site is NOT suitable and if this goes ahead the harm will be permanent.

C4S017 The Brishings. The allocation seems to have been made to meet accommodation numbers rather than sound site selection. Transport, health services, schools, shops, road access, environmental pollution. None of these have been considered regarding this site.

Site C4S017 The Brishings. Site access via Green Lane is impossible. It's a single track passing grade listed buildings and established farm land. Environment pollution. Increased traffic, including heavy arctics carrying machinery will increase pollution, flooding , damage to habitat, loss of character, increased noise pollution, damage to flora and fauna. Risk of increased crime, antisocial behaviour and culture clash.

C4S-017 The Brishings. Publicly provided sites are intended to be well located, sustainable and managed without causing harm to the surrounding area. This site meets none of these needs as my previous answers to questions 1-6 will back up.

The Brishings can not be safely entered via the public highway because Green Lane isn't suitable for such increased weighted traffic. Leeds Road access to Green Lane is impractical for lorries. This site will dominate the village and is not in keeping with the rural landscape. Previous housing applications have been denied on the site.

The Brisings site meets NONE of your criteria from A-J. My reasoning has been answered in questions 1-8.

The Brishings. Design and layout will not fully mitigate the impact this site will have on my community. Previous planning permission has been denied several times for housing and rightly so. So why would a 20 plot development be granted. The site allocation risks creating a visually, environmental, intrusive eyesore regardless of layout and planning.

The Brishings site has had previous planning permission for accommodation denied. There is nothing like it in our village so will not be in keeping. No design feature can out weigh the impact this site will have in the village and the site would be isolated and unsustainable.

The Brishings. Indicators related to occupancy, site management or compliance do nothing to address the unsuitability of this location. This site is inappropriate for any residential development as previously addressed and should not be included in any plan going forward.
